ABOUT
Here at Star of the Sea Youth Ministry, we are in the business of helping to form heroes - young people whose hearts are on fire with love for the Lord, and are seeking to be saints.  Our EDGE and Lifeteen groups aim at catechizing the youth of our parish, and drawing their hearts ever closer to Christ's. Our goal is to help foster young Catholic leaders who will bear witness to the Gospel not only with their words, but in the very way that they live their lives.
EDGE YOUTH MINISTRY
Middle School Youth Group
EDGE is a youth group for students in grades 5-8. We meet every Friday night from 6:30-8:30 in the parish hall. Our typical night is comprised of some social time, awesome activities, a brief talk, small group discussion/ games, and we end off with a challenge and prayer followed by a snack. We also take part from time to time in trips, retreats, sports nights, service projects etc. We would absolutely love for you to join us!
LIFETEEN YOUTH MINISTRY
High School Youth Group
Lifeteen is a youth group for students in grades 9-12. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 6:30 -8:30 in the parish hall. Our typical night is comprised of: some social time accompanied by a snack, awesome activities, a brief talk, small group discussion/ games, and we end off with a challenge and prayer. We also take part from time to time in trips, retreats, 24 hour Thinkfasts, service projects, sports nights, etc. We would absolutely love for you to join us!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Crew and Core Team
Crew is our team of high school leaders who help plan and run our EDGE nights. If you are in grade 9-12 and are interested in joining this group, please contact our youth minister Nick Ali.

Core is our team of university students and adults who help lead both our EDGE and Lifeteen groups. Members assist with putting together snacks and props for the night, organizing games and activities, and even giving talks (based on level of comfort). If you want to volunteer with this group, please contact Nick Ali.
